Receive SOL

How Do I Receive SOL?

Receiving SOL only needs a Solana wallet address. Share it, and anyone — or any exchange — can send SOL to it. Here is how.

Non-custodial · One signature · Metaplex metadata + IPFS · Deployed on mainnet

Find your address

In Phantom, Solflare or Backpack, tap Receive and choose Solana. Copy the address (a long string of letters and numbers) or show the QR code. Your address is safe to share; your seed phrase is not.

From an exchange

To move SOL you bought on an exchange, choose Withdraw, pick SOL on the Solana network, and paste your wallet address. Send a small test amount first.

  • Always choose the Solana network
  • Double-check the first and last characters
  • Network fees are a fraction of a cent

Confirm and use it

Paste your address into Solscan to see the incoming transfer. Once funded, you can create a Solana token — and enter the creator giveaway. If you create a Solana token on SolanaForge you can also enter the $100 creator giveaway. It is a promotional draw — read the rules on that page; entry does not guarantee a prize.
