Create a Solana Token on Mobile
A phone and a Solana wallet app are enough. Fill in the form in your mobile browser, approve in Phantom or Solflare, and the mint lands on mainnet owned by your wallet.
Non-custodial · One signature · Metaplex metadata + IPFS · Deployed on mainnet
What mobile changes and what it does not
The on-chain result is identical to a desktop launch: a mint account, the initial supply in your wallet, and a Metaplex metadata account with your branding. Only the signing experience differs — the wallet app opens, you approve, and you come back to the browser.
- Same mint, metadata, and IPFS handling as desktop
- Wallet app handles the signature; keys never leave it
- Transaction simulated before you approve
- Success page shows the mint address you can copy and share
Tips that avoid mobile-specific problems
Fund the wallet before you start so the transaction does not fail on balance. Keep the browser tab open while the wallet app is in the foreground, and avoid switching apps mid-signature.
Where to go next
Open the Solana token creator on your phone, or read the full walkthrough first. If you want transfer fees or hooks, use the Token-2022 creator.
Creating a token from your phone
Step 1. Install a Solana wallet app
Phantom, Solflare, or Backpack from the App Store or Google Play, and fund it with SOL.
Step 2. Open the creator on your phone
Use your mobile browser, or the in-app browser inside the wallet app.
Step 3. Prepare your logo on the phone
A square PNG or JPG saved in your photo library works. It is compressed and pinned to IPFS.
Step 4. Fill in the token details
Name, symbol, decimals, supply, description, and social links.
Step 5. Connect and approve
Tapping connect opens the wallet app; approve the connection, then approve the transaction.
Step 6. Check the result
The success page shows the mint address, and the token appears in your wallet's token list.
Start your token here
Type a name and ticker — we'll carry them straight into the creator. No wallet needed yet.
Frequently asked questions
Can I really create a Solana token entirely from a phone?
Yes. The transaction is built in the browser and signed by the mobile wallet app, so no desktop or CLI is needed.
Which mobile wallets work?
Phantom, Solflare, and Backpack mobile apps all support the standard connect and sign flow.
The wallet app opens but nothing happens — what now?
Return to the browser tab that started the connection. If the session was lost, reconnect and try again; nothing is charged until you approve the transaction.
Will my logo upload work from a phone?
Yes. Pick a square image from your photo library; it is compressed in the browser before being pinned to IPFS.
What does it cost from mobile?
The same as desktop: 0.18 SOL platform fee plus Solana's mint rent and network fee.
