How to Create a Jetton on TON
The no-code walkthrough for launching a TEP-74 Jetton on The Open Network — audited contracts, TonConnect wallets, 4 TON flat fee, under a minute end-to-end.
What is a Jetton?
A Jetton is TON's fungible token standard (TEP-74). Unlike Ethereum ERC-20 where balances live in one big contract, TON uses a sharded design: one JettonMinter contract (the mint) plus one JettonWallet contract per holder. That's what makes TON transfers so fast and cheap — each holder's wallet lives in its own shard.
USDT-on-TON, NOT, DOGS, HMSTR and every other major TON asset use these exact contracts. SolanaForge deploys the same audited implementation with your wallet as admin.
Step-by-step
Step 1. Install a TonConnect wallet
Tonkeeper, MyTonWallet, Wallet in Telegram, Tonhub, or OpenMask all work. Fund it with at least ~5 TON to cover the platform fee, deploy gas, and future actions.
Step 2. Open the TON Jetton creator
Head to solanaforge.app/ton/create — the entire flow runs in your browser, non-custodial.
Step 3. Connect your wallet
Tap Connect and pick your wallet from TonConnect. Your private key never leaves the wallet app.
Step 4. Fill in Jetton metadata
Name, symbol (3–8 chars), decimals (9 is standard on TON), total supply, and a square logo. Description + social links are pinned to IPFS via Pinata as TEP-64 metadata.
Step 5. Review the deploy summary
You'll see the future Jetton minter address, the 4 TON platform fee, and the ~0.2 TON deploy gas. Unused gas bounces back.
Step 6. Sign one transaction
TonConnect prompts a single signature. The JettonMinter deploys and mints the entire supply to your wallet in the same message.
Step 7. Verify on Tonscan
The success screen links straight to Tonscan and Tonviewer. Confirm name, symbol, logo, admin address, and total supply.
Checklist for a credible TON launch
- Mainnet deploy verified on Tonscan (not testnet)
- Admin renounced or clearly documented
- TEP-64 metadata pinned to IPFS with logo + description
- STON.fi or DeDust pool with real liquidity
- Community distribution — Telegram-first channels + Tonkeeper links

FAQ
Do I need to know FunC to create a Jetton?
No. SolanaForge deploys the audited standard TEP-74 contracts — you only fill in a form and sign one TonConnect transaction.
How long does deployment take?
TON masterchain typically confirms in under 10 seconds. Including form-fill and IPFS pin, the end-to-end flow is under a minute.
How much TON do I need in my wallet?
About 5 TON is comfortable — that covers the 4 TON platform fee, ~0.2 TON deploy gas, and headroom for future actions like listing on a DEX.
Can I keep or revoke admin later?
The minter's admin is set to your wallet at deploy. You can keep it (to mint more later) or renounce it on-chain by sending a change-admin message to the zero address — SolanaForge never has admin rights.
Will my Jetton appear on Tonkeeper, STON.fi and DeDust?
Yes. Tonkeeper, MyTonWallet, Tonscan, and Tonviewer render it as soon as the deploy confirms. STON.fi and DeDust index new Jettons automatically for pool creation.
